Privacy policy

What goes where

• Account: Base44 handles your email, account identifier, sign-in credentials and account security. Your audio/AI permission choices and their update time are saved with your app account. An account is used to authorize access to online speech and AI services.
• Live transcription: only after you allow audio processing and tap Listen, live microphone or connected-cable audio is sent directly to AssemblyAI over an encrypted connection. Your aircraft callsign and optional airport/fix spelling hints are also sent. Browser trial uses the device/browser speech-recognition provider instead, whose processing can be online.
• AI readbacks: only with separate permission, selected or callsign-matched transcript text and your full/short callsign are sent to Base44's AI service and its selected model provider to produce editable drafts. Automatic mode can send completed matching calls without another tap. Turn Auto off to use manual generation only, or revoke AI permission to stop both.
• Device data: aircraft settings, saved messages and selected reply voice are kept in this device's browser/app storage. Up to 400 transcript rows are held in the current session and are cleared on reload or New session. The app does not write raw audio recordings or a transcript archive to its own database. Files you explicitly export remain wherever you save or share them.
• Service operation: Base44 and the speech/AI providers can process network, account, usage, security and diagnostic information for hosting, authentication, operation, abuse prevention and billing. Base44 platform analytics may record visits and interactions. Session replay is disabled. The application has no advertising SDK, advertising identifier collection or advertising-tracking feature.
• Support: if you email support, your email and the information you choose to send are used to respond. Do not include passwords or sensitive radio/conversation content.

Providers, retention and model training

Base44 hosts the app and its account services. AI routing is automatic; Base44's current AI provider list includes OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and other providers. Processing may take place outside your country. Provider contracts and processing terms govern their handling of shared data; our service providers are expected to protect it consistently with this policy.

AssemblyAI's retention and model-training policy says streaming audio/transcripts have zero production retention when the service account is opted out of model training; billing/logging metadata can remain. We do not claim that this app's service account has zero retention. Unless a contractual exclusion or opt-out applies, submitted data may be used for model improvement under AssemblyAI's terms.

Base44's published privacy guidance says model-training exclusions depend on the workspace plan; non-Enterprise workspace data may be used for model training. We do not promise zero retention or no training for Base44 AI processing. Leave AI readbacks off if you do not want your transcripts sent for that processing.

Account data is retained while your account exists. Self-deletion removes your app account/profile permanently. Base44 states analytics expire after 60 days and applicable platform backups expire on their plan's schedule (7 or 30 days); service/security logs may remain under provider policies or legal obligations. Provider-held data is not automatically erased by clearing your device. Contact support to request help with provider-held data.

Your controls

Open Settings → Privacy & account to separately allow or revoke audio and AI processing, clear this device's saved messages/settings, sign out, or initiate account deletion. Revocation stops new processing on this device; stop sessions on other devices too. Data already sent remains subject to provider retention. Denying AI permission leaves manual replies available. Microphone access is requested only for listening, and you can change it in your device settings.

Account deletion requires typing DELETE. It does not delete a separate Base44 builder account, exported files, email correspondence or local copies on other devices. Remove those copies separately. The app owner must transfer app ownership before deleting that owner account. For access/correction/deletion requests outside these controls, email support.

This app is intended for adult aviation users. It does not intentionally collect children's information. We will update this page when processing changes and ask again before materially different optional audio/AI processing.
